Crowns & Bridges

After the root canal treatment is done crowns are placed onto the tooth. The crown covers the entire tooth, protects it from the biting forces. At the same time it allows the tooth to chew & function normally.

Crowns may be made from several different materials:

1. Gold
2. Stainless steel
3. Full ceramic –PROCERA, IPS IMPRESS Procera Crowns
4. Ceramic fused to metal.

Bridges

When a single tooth or a few teeth are lost, a fixed bridge can be made which replaces the missing tooth by taking support from the teeth adjacent to the space created by the missing tooth.
